Liquid Helium Transfer Line. How do you transfer a liquid that is at minus 450 F (or -270 C) ? Remember that the air around us becomes a liquid at about -150 F. Helium gas becomes a liquid at -450 F !! Well, you use a Liquid He Transfer Line. 6 feet evacuated flexible section with Bellows valve for pumping the air from around it, standard 28 inch long dewar legs on both ends Go on Google and search for Liquid He Transfer Line. This item is advertised for $2,500 ! We are done with our experiments and a lucky person can have this Liquid He Transfer Line for $500.
